Educational Consultant and Wellness Coach
Emily Cady is an educational consultant and wellness coach who has spent over twenty years in educational leadership at various levels in both private and public institutions. Emily has a passion for empowering educators to live healthy and joyful lives rooted in holistic and sustainable wellness practices. She is a sought after national speaker on topics specializing in educational systems and the social-emotional health of educational institutions. At a time when the world is questioning age-old learning practices, Emily is rooted in the foundations of our survival —trusting relationships, empathy, respect, and authenticity.
Prior to becoming a consultant, she served as the Director of Counseling and Wellness at Our Lady of Mercy School for Young Women in Rochester, NY where she spearheaded new wellness initiatives that included preventative and enhanced social emotional programming, community-wide wellness efforts, and opening a new wellness center. Emily has also served as the Director of College Counseling at Chyten Educational Services in Pennington, NJ, a School Counselor in several public school districts in both NY (Brighton Central School District) and NJ (Hamilton Township), and as a College Counselor at St. Ignatius College Prep in Chicago, IL.
Emily holds a Bachelor’s degree from Ohio Wesleyan University and a Master’s degree from Rider University where she was awarded the prestigious Lincoln Scott Walter Memorial Award for Excellence in Counseling and has completed her first year in a doctoral program at Boston University in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. Emily is also a life and career coach, a college admission consultant, and a nationally certified counselor. When Emily is not working, she enjoys running, theatre, volunteering in her community, and dance parties in the kitchen with her three children and husband.
